Using cole slaw mix with carrots and purple cabbage gave the recipe some additional color which was nice. Add the cabbage and carrot pieces, along with some more oil to the pan and fry for approx. Chop the pointed cabbage into small pieces and remove the stem.

  1. Stir fry the aromatics then add in the vegetables. Add water. Cover on low heat and simmer till cooked

Add the cabbage and carrot pieces, along with some more oil to the pan and fry for approx. Chop the pointed cabbage into small pieces and remove the stem. Thinly slice carrots and set both aside. Heat some oil in a frying pan and slightly fry the bacon cubes. Stir-fry for a few seconds, just until fragrant, then add the cabbage and carrots.
