  1. Take For Sambhar
  2. Get 1 cup tuar dal

  5. Get 2 tsp Sambhar Masala
  6. Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

  8. Get 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  9. Get 2 tsp Curry leaves
  10. Get to taste Salt
  11. Take For Vada
  12. Get 1/2 cup urad dal
  13. Make ready 1 cup left over rice
  14. Prepare 2 tsp Grated ginger
  15. Get 1 tsp Chopped green chilli
  16. Take 2 tsp freshly chopped coriander leaves
  17. Get Pinch baking soda
  18. Make ready to taste Salt
  19. Get as needed oil
Instructions to make Leftover rice Sambhar Vada:
  1. For Vada
  2. Grind leftover rice with little water.
  3. Wash the urad dal &grind it in the grinder with little water
  4. Transfer the batter in a bowl
  5. Now grind leftover rice & mix with the urad dal batter.
  6. Now add grated ginger, green chilli,salt &pinch of soda in it.
  7. Heat oil in pan
  8. Take small portion of the batter &make ball then make hole in the centre.
  9. Fry Vada till golden brown on medium flame.
  10. For Sambhar
  11. Clean &wash toovar dal. pressure cook the dal.
  12. Onion,brinjal,potato., drumsticks with 2cup water.
  13. Then add imli pulp,salt,turmeric powder &4 cups water and bring to boil.
  14. Prepare Tempering
  15. Heat oil in pan
  16. Put mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilli,hing and sambhar masala.
  17. Finally add to the Sambhar & simmer for 10 mins.
  18. Now put Vada on plate & serve hot.
