  4. Then add black pepper and stock cube and saute for a min or two.
  5. At this step remove some sauted mushrooms for garnish.
  6. Then add oats flour and cook for 2 to 3 mins. Add water and cook until 2-3 simmers.
  7. Finally add milk and simmer until 4-5 boils come and it starts to thicken.
  8. Once the soup is thicken, remove from gas and crush it with hand blender.
  9. At last garnish with some sauted mushrooms and oregano.

This is definitely an upgrade from the condensed cream of mushroom soup of your childhood! It's best to use a nice mix of mushrooms, but if you're going to buy only one type, use crimini, which has more flavor than the others.
