  1. Place a cooker on a stove and heat with 2tsp of oil.. When oil is heated add mustard seeds
  2. When mustard seeds are busted add cummin and pepper corns and green and red chilli
  3. Now add curryleaves and garlic and salute for 1min
  4. Next add onions keep the flame on low salute until it becomes golden brown now add tomatoes and salute for 2min add salt
  5. Now add turmeric and chillipowder/sambar powder…finally add soaked rice and dal and pour 2, 1/2 cups of water and close the cooker lid
  6. After 3 wishels add finely chopped coriander leaves and serve it with crispy potato
